One of the most glamorous women’s brands on the eModa.com site, Sky brand clothing is swimming in recognition for their swanky, club-worthy designs. The Los Angeles-based line began as simply a shoe collection by husband-and-wife duo Peter and Jennifer Kane back in 1998, eventually expanding into the posh and trendy couture line that it is today. Sky brand clothing’s first big splash in the industry was made when its owners opened a store on trendy LA marketplace street Robertson. Subsequently, celebrities are often photographed wearing Sky tops and shopping at on of their most popular locations in Beverly Hills, CA.

The designers’ inspiration for the brand is very basic: they simply design what they like! Sky tops are typically fashioned from rayon or silk with ample stretch, ensuring a stylish and comfortable fit. They’re especially known for their unique accoutrements, including premium leathers and amazing rhinestone embellishments, ensuring a uniquely glam look that will stand out in a crowd.

In New York, the buyers and models of eModa met with Chester and Josh who took time out of his busy day between rocking out, several businesses, and fatherhood to meet with us, snap some photos, and sign some authentic Ve’cel tees!

It seems like every month a new celebrity is starting their own clothing line. Justin Timberlake recently helped his personal assistant and long time friend Trace Ayala in starting up William Rast, a hot new line of classic denim. Wilmer Valderrama  is responsible for Calavena, Victoria Beckham started DVB, and Gwen Stefani has left her mark on the fashion world with both LAMB (Love, Angel, Music, Baby) and Harajuku Lovers.

Next to create a wave in the fashion ocean is Chester Bennington. While this name might not stand out as clearly as those aforementioned, we are sure that Chester’s roots will.  Mr. Bennington is the front man for none other than Linkin Park, the masterminds behind “Hybrid Theory”, 2001’s best selling album of the year, and the winners of two Grammy Awards.

Chester, a constant creator, has been using his downtime from Linkin Park to create and design, showcasing his work with Ve’Cel, an edgy, fashion-forward company of casual men’s apparel. Featuring an unmistakable star logo, this premium label has an original aesthetic, rivaling for depth with Chester’s music. This clothing line features incredible washes, treatments and multilayered pigmentation graphics, all in the nebulous, complex style that mirrors the offerings of Chester’s sonic side. The singer/designer teams with Josh Merrin (Liquid Graphics) to be breathe life into an often flailing fashion industry.

Boasting the slogan Aeternum Vale, or, “Farewell Forever” in Latin, Ve’cel clothing defies typical couture conventions and defies graphic conformity. As Chester once stated, “music art and fashion all fused through Ve’cel.”

The folks at eModa Showroom have been working relentlessly to prepare for this season’s hottest trade shows! We just returned from AmericasMart in Atlanta which is the LARGEST wholesale marketplace of its kind. They house extensive apparel collections for men, women, children, and even special occasion and bridal wear! Each year, AmericasMart has over 235,000 attendees from around the world!

Before then, we were attended PROJECT in NY, which is known to be the “foremost premium and contemporary global tradeshow where the best of the best gather to show, buy, network, and define next year’s trends.”

Next up the eModa Showroom is headed to sunny South Beach Miami, for the Trafik Miami Tradeshow, from February 3rd through the 5th. This independent, contemporary tradeshow sets out to raise the bar in the fashion industry by facilitating exclusive trade between contemporary buyers and exhibitors. We’ll be out there representing with J. Steger, the Laguna Beach Jeans Company, Soul Rocker, King Rebel, and Rass Vintage.
