Men’s and Women’s Designer Jeans — Make Designer Delicious!

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

While not all men’s and women’s designer jeans are hot, even the trendiest styles can take a nose dive without the right flare. In today’s world, fashion is more than just high-end threads; it’s all about the attitude and the complete look. If you plan on taking big name threads from trendy denim to true celebrity-worthy style, it is all about how you wear them.

Accessorizing Men’s Designer Jeans

Men’s big name denim looks nice all on its own, but to go from the ‘boy next door’ to fashion hottie, the secret is all in the accessories. Most men shy away from accessories, but the transformation brought on by a single item is stunning.

Carefully select pieces that demonstrate true masculinity with a great fashion sense. Great examples of this are trends set by the likes of David Beckham and John Mayer. A wide leather bracelet, pewter charmed dog tags, and even mid length chain necklaces are top on the macho accessory list.

For a slightly bolder statement of fashion presence, pick out a coordinating scarf or hat. The scarves are made of luxurious materials with the perfect touch of pattern and color. When it comes to hats, Swarovski crystals, touches of pewter, and artistic collages can dress up the plainest denim duds. Add these along with a ‘guess what I’m thinking’ look and you have yourself delicious designer denim that is guaranteed to kill.

Dressing Up Women’s Designer Jeans

Ask any lady with an eye for fashion, and she’ll tell you the first step to accessorizing the right pair of jeans is selecting the perfect footwear. When it comes to sandals, look for wide and stylish straps that accent the embroidery and Swarovski crystals perfectly.

If pumps are what you are into, look for styles with large patterns and details. Wide cuffs and stacked heels are all the rage when it comes to the hottest calf high boots. With handbags, select a small version or a large one, but look for bold embellishments and bright colors.

Kathryn Amberleigh Starlet Glitter Stripe Peep-Toe Shoes

When searching for the perfect jewelry to spark extra life into women’s designer jeans, wide bangles and bracelets with gold accents will definitely do the trick. Metal versions inspired by men’s fashions are fantastic for the girl wanting to add a feistier touch to her look.

The same can be said for rings. Champagne rings and added charms add that extra little pizzazz that goes a long way. Rather than selecting too many pieces to wear at once, look for one or two pieces that will say almost everything and walk with the moves that say the rest.

Hot denim jeans are popular because they look fantastic. The secret to really pulling off the effect of men’s and women’s designer jeans is what you put with it and how you feel while you’re in them. Select the perfect accessories and coordinate your look. All that’s left is to put a little attitude in your step and your delicious denim look is complete.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Men’s Designer Jeans

Monday, October 6th, 2008

Fashion trends in men’s designer jeans come and go, but some of these trends should never have been released on the world. These styles range anywhere from yucky to just plain scary, not to mention it completely defeats the purpose of picking out big name jeans. The idea is to be comfortable while showing off your best assets.

The Don’ts Of Men’s Designer Jeans

Fashion crime number one with a great pair of men’s jeans is super skinny, ‘I’ve been painted on’ styles. Even if you are totally chiseled, this looks just plain wrong. Men’s fashions are moving towards a narrower leg, but you still need room to breathe and move. Let the ladies use their imagination!

                                          Skin-tight Men's Jeans? Cut!

You can have the hottest pair of threads on the market and if you don a t-shirt or golf with a pocket on top, the entire look is ruined. Another huge no-no is crocs or sandals particularly when they are worn with socks. If you have some of these urges, do yourself a favor and drop them in the donation box now before it is too late.

If someone tells you a pair of acid wash denim their biggest seller, they are lying! These became popular in the 80s and that is precisely where they need to stay — right along with the bad hair. This makes you appear old and just plain out of the loop. Spot bleached fashions are not far off.

Several designers are creating fantastic wide leg versions and oversized waists. If you choose these styles, please, please, please do not wear them with strappy thong underwear. It looks cute on a woman, but not on a guy of any size or shape. Again, please let the ladies get creative.

The Dos Of Men’s Designer Denim

Wear men’s designer jeans with a chic belt that makes a statement. Silver or pewter buckles are super trendy and add to the current styles. Crystals and interesting leather patterns are must haves for any man’s wardrobe.

An artistic T or hoodie can dress up even the plainest styles in an instant. These are no longer the plain printed styles of the 90s. Skulls, flames and intricate artistry with an abundance of color is definitely the way to go. Other labels are following the opposite theme with angel wings and crosses. Some are even combining the two topics on the same piece!

When it comes to selecting jeans, look for styles with a good cut, patterned pockets, and a comfortable fit. One of the hottest trends at the moment is leather and embroidered details highlighted with pewter and crystal accents. (Yes, crystals are not just for girls!) Bold stitching is another small detail that has a big impact on the overall look of the jeans.

Laguna Beach Long Beach Denim with Black Crystals

Instead of diving into the back of your closet to find a hot look, take a look at some of the top men’s designer jeans available today. Everything that is hot right now is bold, bright, and downright delicious. They each make a statement, and by pairing them with the perfect items, you can make that a positive statement!

Fashion With a Purpose…

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Here at eModa.com, we’re willing to bet you’ve never seen accessories like these! Several years ago, a suburban-Vegas orthopaedic surgeon by the name of Michael Crovetti was performing a trauma surgery in which a metal reconstruction plate was being used to fix a broken bone. Dr. Crovetti was inspired by this metal and had a similar plate bent into a ring, garnering attention and compliments from both his fellow surgeons and patients, as well as requests for similar pieces.

                                          Skeletal Metal Jewelry

Dr. Crovetti eventually developed his hobby into a progressive jewelry line known as Skeletal Metal. These amazing pieces are, quite simply, fashioned from the same type of reconstructive plates used to fix shattered and broken bones. From the rings and bracelets to earrings and cross pendants and even a sleek cable, this state-of-the-art jewelry has resonated deeply within both the healthcare and athletic fields and is making big waves on the fashion scene as well!
