I just started work at this new place. All the girls at my workplace talk about this guy they fondly call, ‘the perfect guy’. Well, who wouldn’t be curious to check out for themselves what this guy looks like? Mentally preparing myself to be disappointed, I casually ‘on-purpose’ bumped into him. Guess what? I think they were right. Casual elegance and perfect style, that’s how I would describe him.
He wore the perfect shirt, not too dressy and not too drab. His style was such that he was not fighting for attention and he was definitely not fading into the background. His clothes had a personality of their own.
He casually teamed a blue checked half sleeved shirt with grey jeans. The shirt screamed intelligence and he claimed the space he walked in. While ninety percent of the other guys in the office were in drab grays and browns, he was outshining them all. It was like watching him in Technicolor while watching the rest of the world in black and white.
I was flabbergasted. I walked up to this other colleague of mine and asked, what is the catch? There sure must be one. He couldn’t possibly look so perfect every day. She had just two words for me. ‘Ben Sherman’.
I had to know more. I frantically went online and searched for more information. My eyes were finally open to the world of Ben Sherman and amazingly well-dressed men.
Comfort and quirk seem to be the keywords for Ben Sherman. It was all there for me to see. Smart shirts and trousers, glamorous and yet understated overcoats, shoes and yes shoes (!!!), glares, you name it and they have it.
What thrilled me beyond imagination was finding out that Ben Sherman, very kindly, also caters to girls. I took the rest of the day off and went shopping. I bought the most amazing overcoats, shoes and clothes for work. Every piece seemed so good; I had to have them all. I vowed to go back again.
Well, it might seem like a momentary madness to you all, but it paid off better than you could ever imagine. I’m now known at work place as Miss. Perfect. My boss loves me, my colleagues are jealous of me, every guy at my work place wants to be with me, every girl wants to BE me and well, ‘the perfect guy’ I mentioned earlier, well, we are dating. Thank you Ben Sherman, you rock!
